A walk around Belfast in the run up to Christmas with photos of the city centre, the Christmas Market, Laganside views and Botanic Gardens
For those unable to visit here, we will occasionally add posts on our favourite walks and days out. These posts will largely consist of photos aiming to show (or remind) our web visitors of specific towns, villages and other locations. If the walks are relatively short then we may bring our dog, Scotty, as he loves his walks and exploring new places.

Carnmoney Hill, 6 miles north of Belfast, rises to a height of 761ft allowing beautiful views over the city, shoreline and Belfast Lough.

The Knockagh Monument, erected in memory of the fallen in WW1 and WW2 , offers spectacular views of Carrickfergus, Belfast and North Down.

Belfast Waterworks was built in the 1830s to supply water to north Belfast. It is now a popular park with Cave Hill views.
